Break Juku is a Crows Nest-based street dance school for kids, focusing on Breaking (breakdance) and Hip Hop. From complete beginners to experienced young dancers, students of all levels are welcome to train and grow together.
At Break Juku, we don’t just teach dance moves — we nurture teamwork, creativity, expression, and perseverance. Through dancing, kids build confidence, learn to support each other, and shine on stage.

Hiro T Uke
Hiro T Uke
Hiro T Uke is a versatile Rock and Soul musician, known for her work as a singer, songwriter, and keyboardist.
She is also an accomplished ukulele player. With an impressive international career, Hiro currently leads two projects: the band ‘The Heartbreakers’ and the ‘AlHiro Acoustic Duo’.
Originally from Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka, Japan, Hiro’s global experience includes living in the US, Italy, and Angola before she established her base in Sydney, Australia. Looking ahead, her new duo, ‘Obaoba’, is scheduled to tour Japan in April 2026.

Makoto Tanaka has been in Sydney for 30+ years. His repertoire includes the '70s and '80s Japanese folk songs, the Beatles and Simon & Garfunkel, etc...
He has a large fan base in the Japanese community in Sydney and has performed at Japan Matsuri Festival, Japanese restaurants, Japanese corporate parties, private parties and wedding parties etc.

Onikenbai
Onikenbai
Onikenbai is a traditional Japanese Buddhist dance from which has been danced for more than 1,000 years in Iwasaki region, Iwate prefecture, Japan. Onikenbai is a sword and folding fan dance usually performed by a group of eight dancers with a live-music.
The name Onikenbai derives from demon-like masks and sword dance.
Sydney Onikenbai was formed in 2011, the club have been practicing hard and performing at many events like Matsuri Japan Festival 2024 in Sydney, and members annually travel to Iwasaki to learn the dance from the original group “Iwasaki Onikenbai”

Shinkyokushin Karate is practiced in over 100 countries around the world. The main philosophy is to ‘Master the Mind’, with activities centered on the three pillars of nurturing youth, social contribution and international exchange.

The Sydney Soran Dance Troupe is part of the Japan Club of Sydney Inc, Japanese community organisation.
The dance style of Soran originates from the northern Island of Japan, Hokkaido.
The first Dance is - ‘Asia no Kaizoku’ and it is a dance about the Pirates of Asia setting sail on their journey across the seas for Treasure Island.
The second song, Nanchu Soran is a famous traditional Japanese fisherman’s dance which originated in Hokkaido and is taught in schools across Japan.
The dance movement shows the process of catching fish. These dances are very energetic so we hope you will enjoy them!

Our competitive team has achieved an impressive record as multiple-time National Grand Champions, showcasing exceptional skills and teamwork across the country.
Some of our athletes have also been proudly selected to represent Team Australia and will compete at the World Cheerleading Championships in 2026.
We are excited to share our cheer spirit with you as a heartfelt expression of gratitude to all spectators and all who have supported us.

Twisting Tornadoes is a high-energy girls' dance team that performs a mixed style of Jazz and Hip Hop. In 2025, we successfully launched a new K-pop holiday program, which led to many members taking the stage for their very first performance.
Starting next year, we plan to expand our class offerings to include K-pop lessons and explore other dance areas as well.

Wadaiko Rindo Sydney is a vibrant Japanese taiko drumming group based in Sydney. They bring energy, skill, and heart to every show. The ensemble began in 2010 as the sister group to Melbourne’s Wadaiko Rindo, led by founder Toshi Sakamoto.
Since then, they’ve grown into a dynamic taiko community hub with a devoted following. Their performances are renowned for their powerful taiko rhythms, synchronization, and bright traditional costumes that make each show visually thrilling.
Their repertoire blends traditional pieces with contemporary works, making them a popular choice for corporate events, local festivals, and cultural celebrations—whether in Sydney, Wollongong, Central Coast, Cowra, or even interstates like Canberra.
They also welcome new players through regular taiko classes and workshops, offering beginners a chance to dive into rhythms and techniques and work up to performing pieces.
